I wish people would remember that Indie Music is nothing new. Sun Records was an independent label, for heaven’s sake. So was Stax. From the beginning of the record business there have been independent studios and independent labels, so get off your high horse already.

There’s also nothing wrong with a lot of major label music. Okay, some of it sucks, yes. But some of the Indie stuff sucks too. It doesn’t make it better one way or the other what label it’s on.

I just like good music. That’s it. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s big label or not.

Cam called last night and we chatted for nearly an hour. He’s considering making some pretty big changes in his life. He’s just miserable in his job now and really seems burnt out about it.
